
Hi, I’m Mary – and this is Forks and Corks.
I’m a food, wine and travel creator that believes deeply in the magic of thoughtful indulgences and shared bottles of wine.
In 2023, I studied (read: drank a lot of) wine and earned my level II sommelier certification and then packed up my NYC apartment for Rome, where I completed a masters in Cultural Heritage. My thesis explored the ways in which marketing, storytelling and innovation in tourism can build a more inclusive, sustainable future for the wine industry – especially for women.
These days, I work as a freelance marketing consultant and content creator, helping brands build better stories – while building one of my own. When I’m not writing or working with clients, you’ll probably find me:
- Recklessly biking through the streets of Rome
- Sweating next to a hot stove with wine in hand
- Running through an airport with an inevitably overweight suitcase in tow
- Overthinking every personal decision before doing exactly what I said I would do in the first five minutes
What is Forks and Corks, exactly?
It’s my digital kitchen table: a place where food, wine, and curiosities meet. I write about what I’m cooking, what I’m drinking, where I’m going, and why any of it matters. You’ll find:
- recipes with a side personal monologuing
- wine guides without the snobbery
- travel diaries filled with all of my (mis)adventures
